Who we are

Atlas Inspections is a thermal inspection platform operated by Atlas Logic ("we," "us," or "our"). Our platform is available at atlasinspections.net and helps inspection teams capture, analyze, and report on infrared imagery.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in via Google OAuth (the only sign-in method), we receive your Google account email address, display name, and profile picture. We store this to identify your account within the platform.

Inspection data. You upload thermal images, standard photos, field notes, annotations, and related inspection metadata (building names, locations, timestamps). This content is stored on your behalf so you can access it from any device.

Usage data. We collect standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and debugging purposes. We do not run third-party analytics trackers.

Contact form submissions. If you submit a message via our Contact page, we store the name, email, company, and message you provide so we can respond.

Gmail integration and the gmail.send scope

Atlas optionally integrates with your Gmail account so you can send inspection reports and email summaries directly from the platform, delivered on your behalf from your own Gmail address.

To enable this, we request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send OAuth scope. This scope allows Atlas to compose and send email on your behalf. We use it exclusively to send emails you explicitly initiate within the platform (for example, dispatching a thermal report to a client or scheduling a portfolio summary).

We never:

  • Read, scan, index, or store the contents of your Gmail inbox.
  • Send email without an explicit action by you inside the platform.
  • Share your Gmail access token with any third party.
  • Use the Gmail connection for advertising or any purpose other than sending emails you request.

Your Gmail OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and are never exposed in API responses. You can disconnect Gmail at any time from your account settings or by visiting Google Account Permissions.

Atlas's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use your information

  • Authenticate you and maintain your session.
  • Store and display your inspection data across devices.
  • Send emails you explicitly initiate via the Gmail integration.
  • Respond to support requests submitted via the contact form.
  • Maintain platform security and diagnose technical issues.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles or share it with data brokers.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on servers within the United States. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to authorized Atlas Logic personnel. For more detail, see our Security page.

Data retention

We retain your account and inspection data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

For instructions on deleting your account and data, see our Data Deletion page.

Third-party services

We use a limited set of third-party services to operate the platform:

  • Google OAuth — sign-in and optional Gmail integration. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Replit — hosting and infrastructure provider.

These providers may process data on our behalf and are bound by contractual data-protection obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (see our Data Deletion page).
  • Revoke the Gmail integration at any time.

To exercise these rights, email info.atlaslogic@gmail.com or use the in-app account settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
