Keep critical equipment running
with routine thermal surveys

Unplanned downtime is expensive. Routine thermal inspections catch developing faults — in motors, bearings, switch-gear, steam traps, and refractory — while there is still time to schedule the repair. Atlas gives facilities teams the system to run those routes consistently and document every finding.

What Atlas supports

Every asset, on every route

Atlas organises inspection captures by asset and location so technicians always know what was checked, when it was checked, and what it looked like.

Preventive inspection routes

Build repeatable routes across motor rooms, switch rooms, steam systems, and process equipment. Atlas stores each route as a project for reuse.

Asset-level thermal history

Every inspection capture is stored against the project it belongs to. Compare the same asset across inspection dates to spot a developing trend before it becomes a failure.

Anomaly annotation

Mark overheating bearings, hot refractory sections, steam trap failures, and electrical hot spots directly on the thermal image with temperature callouts.

Scheduled reporting

Produce a consistent monthly or quarterly report for every facility. Templates ensure the same format every time — so engineers can compare reports across periods.

Radiometric ingest

Import from FLIR, DJI, Autel, and Skydio cameras — handheld or drone. Atlas extracts calibrated temperature data automatically from every radiometric format.

Maintenance-ready documentation

Reports include annotated imagery, temperature readings, and recommended action items — formatted for the maintenance planner, not just the inspector.

Inspection workflow

A consistent system across every site visit

Facilities inspections span dozens of assets and multiple buildings. Atlas keeps every capture organised, every finding documented, and every report formatted the same way.

1. Walk the route

Capture thermal images of each asset on the route with any FLIR, DJI, or Autel camera. The mobile field app syncs captures back to the job in real time.

2. Review findings

Step through the inspection in Atlas. Annotate anomalies, add temperature callouts, and record recommended actions before leaving the site.

3. Compare to baseline

Pull up the previous inspection for the same asset. Side-by-side comparison shows whether a hot spot has grown, stabilised, or been resolved.

4. Deliver the report

Generate a branded PDF with a findings summary, annotated imagery, and a prioritised action table — ready for the maintenance planner.

What teams get

Evidence that stops unplanned downtime

A documented thermal history for each asset gives maintenance planners the data they need to schedule repairs during planned outages — not emergency shutdowns.
