Atlas applies the same measurement model FLIR's own tools use — emissivity, reflected apparent temperature, and IR-window transmission — and recomputes every reading when you adjust a parameter. Implausible decodes are flagged rather than silently shipped.

Which FLIR file types does Atlas support?
FLIR radiometric JPEGs — the standard output of FLIR handheld and drone cameras. Atlas extracts the embedded thermal matrix and calibration constants for accurate measurement.
Do temperatures match what FLIR desktop tools report?
Atlas implements the published FLIR measurement formula, including per-image calibration constants and parameter corrections, and validates results for plausibility. Where a file only supports approximate decoding, Atlas says so explicitly.
Is Atlas affiliated with FLIR?
No. Atlas Inspections is independent software that processes files produced by FLIR cameras. FLIR is a trademark of its respective owner.
