Creating new 3D models and associated orthophotos or point-cloud outputs is not available as a released capability. Existing accepted work is preserved, but a queued job or a stored artifact is not evidence of presentation-grade quality.
Models that answer inspection questions
Where an authorized existing or imported model has the required data, inspect its available layers and source links in the browser. Missing layers are not evidence of no defects, and model measurements are not independently surveyed dimensions.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a powerful computer for photogrammetry?
New Atlas reconstruction is Coming soon, regardless of computer or subscription. Existing-model viewing requires a compatible browser and authorized access.
Can Atlas build 3D models from video?
3D model generation from video is Coming soon. Ordinary video-to-stills extraction is a separate workflow and does not create a model.
Are measurements from the model survey-grade?
Atlas is honest about this: model measurements carry accuracy indicators, and unless the reconstruction is georeferenced with sufficient quality, they are presentation-grade estimates — clearly labeled as such, never passed off as survey results.
