IR surveys: the service your
customers should be buying from you
Someone is going to sell your commercial customers their annual infrared survey — the contractor who already maintains their gear is the natural choice. Atlas gives electrical contractors the software side of a professional IR offering.
Electrical thermography, contractor edition
Measured findings, professional deliverables, repeat-revenue structure.
Calibrated temperature analysis
Inspect per-pixel temperatures, adjust emissivity and reflected temperature, and place spot and area measurements that update live as you tune parameters.
Radiometric file support
Atlas reads the calibrated temperature data embedded in DJI R-JPEG and FLIR radiometric files — not just the colorized preview — so every reading is a measurement, not a guess.
Annotation & markup
Drop pins with live temperature readouts, mark regions, add delta-T callouts, and attach field notes so every finding carries its evidence.
Automatic photo organization
Uploads are sorted thermal vs optical, grouped by flight, and filed against the right project and building automatically — even full memory-card dumps.
Branded PDF reports
Generate client-ready reports with annotated imagery, findings tables, and severity grading — under your logo and brand, ready to send the same day.
Jobs, estimates & invoices
Run the business side in the same place: a deal pipeline, job tracking, estimates, scheduling, and invoicing tied to each inspection.
Findings your customers can act on
An IR survey report from Atlas reads like a work plan: each anomaly with its measured delta-T, severity grade, location, and photo pair. Since you're also the contractor who fixes what you find, the survey feeds your own repair pipeline — diagnosis and remedy from the same trusted vendor.
Built to become an annual program
The first survey is a sale; the annual re-survey is a business. Atlas keeps per-site history so year-over-year comparison is automatic, scheduling and invoicing handle the recurring cadence, and each report reinforces why the customer keeps the program — and you — in place.
Frequently asked questions
Do my electricians need thermography certification?
Certification (Level I and up) is strongly recommended and often expected for insurance-driven surveys — training is yours to arrange. Atlas handles the measurement, documentation, and reporting rigor around it.
Can Atlas grade findings to NETA-style delta-T tiers?
Findings carry measured temperature differences and severity grades you assign against your program's thresholds — NETA-style tiers or your own standard — with the measurement documented either way.
What about panels we can't open?
IR windows are the standard answer, and Atlas supports IR-window transmission correction so through-window readings stay accurate.
