Thermal imaging app

A thermal imaging app
for people who bill for accuracy

Consumer thermal apps are built for looking. Atlas is built for finding, measuring, and proving — the three things a paying client actually needs from a thermal image.

Capabilities

Professional-grade thermal image handling

The full radiometric toolchain, in the browser, with none of the desktop-suite overhead.

Calibrated temperature analysis

Inspect per-pixel temperatures, adjust emissivity and reflected temperature, and place spot and area measurements that update live as you tune parameters.

Radiometric file support

Atlas reads the calibrated temperature data embedded in DJI R-JPEG and FLIR radiometric files — not just the colorized preview — so every reading is a measurement, not a guess.

Annotation & markup

Drop pins with live temperature readouts, mark regions, add delta-T callouts, and attach field notes so every finding carries its evidence.

AI-assisted defect detection

Atlas proposes likely defects for inspector review. You accept or reject each proposal — and the system learns your standards over time. Nothing ships without a human decision.

Branded PDF reports

Generate client-ready reports with annotated imagery, findings tables, and severity grading — under your logo and brand, ready to send the same day.

Automatic photo organization

Uploads are sorted thermal vs optical, grouped by flight, and filed against the right project and building automatically — even full memory-card dumps.

Tune the physics, not just the palette

Emissivity, reflected temperature, and palette choices all change what a thermal image says. Atlas lets you adjust measurement parameters per image and recomputes every spot, area, and pin reading live — so a low-emissivity metal roof or a reflective electrical panel doesn't fool the report.

Findings that survive handoff

An annotated thermal image is only useful if the next person understands it. Atlas pairs each thermal frame with its optical twin, keeps annotations anchored with live temperature readouts, and exports everything into a report a facility manager or homeowner can act on without a thermography course.

When volume grows, AI-assisted detection proposes likely anomalies for your review — you stay the inspector; Atlas just makes the first pass faster.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Atlas a thermal camera app for my phone?

No — Atlas doesn't turn a phone into a thermal camera. It processes radiometric files from real thermal cameras and drones (DJI, FLIR, and others) and gives you professional analysis, annotation, and reporting.

Can I change emissivity after the photo is taken?

Yes. Because Atlas works from the radiometric data rather than the rendered image, you can correct emissivity and reflected temperature after capture and every measurement updates.

What image formats does Atlas read?

Radiometric formats from DJI (R-JPEG) and FLIR, plus standard JPEG/PNG photos and common drone video formats for optical documentation.
