Energy audits with
pictures worth the retrofit
Nothing sells air sealing like a thermal image of the leak. Atlas gives energy auditors the radiometric rigor behind those images — measured, annotated, and assembled into reports that move homeowners and building owners to act.
The thermal half of the audit
Pair your blower door and models with imagery that makes the findings undeniable.
Calibrated temperature analysis
Inspect per-pixel temperatures, adjust emissivity and reflected temperature, and place spot and area measurements that update live as you tune parameters.
Annotation & markup
Drop pins with live temperature readouts, mark regions, add delta-T callouts, and attach field notes so every finding carries its evidence.
Mobile field capture
The companion mobile app captures photos, notes, and flight details on site and syncs them straight into the right project.
Automatic photo organization
Uploads are sorted thermal vs optical, grouped by flight, and filed against the right project and building automatically — even full memory-card dumps.
Branded PDF reports
Generate client-ready reports with annotated imagery, findings tables, and severity grading — under your logo and brand, ready to send the same day.
Secure client share links
Share findings through expiring, optionally passphrase-protected links. Clients review imagery and comments in the browser — no account required.
Make invisible losses visible
Attic bypasses, rim-joist leakage, uninsulated knee walls, thermal bridges at framing — the audit's biggest findings are invisible to the homeowner until you show them. Atlas captures each one with calibrated temperatures and side-by-side optical context, so the report educates as it documents.
From audit to upgrade decision
An audit report that ranks findings clearly gets acted on. Atlas organizes findings by area and severity, keeps your notes attached to each image, and produces a branded deliverable the client can take to contractors — or that you can quote against directly if retrofit work is your business too.
Frequently asked questions
Does Atlas do energy modeling?
No — Atlas is the thermal imaging, documentation, and reporting layer. It complements modeling tools by supplying the measured visual evidence behind envelope findings.
When should audit thermography be captured?
With a solid inside-outside temperature difference — winter mornings and summer afternoons work well — and ideally during blower-door depressurization for air-leakage imaging. Atlas records timing and conditions with the survey.
Is Atlas overkill for residential audits?
No — a residential audit is a small project in Atlas: capture on the mobile app, annotate the exceptions, send the report. The same account scales to commercial work when it arrives.
